CGCC HOMEWORK CENTER

The Cashew Gardens Homework and Activity Center serves as a safe space for the children, a training facility for the adults and a meeting place for the community. In 2012 construction of the Centre began using surplus funds from the community garden.   The skilled men and women of the community volunteered their time and special ability to construct the Centre at no cost.  

 

This Centre, is also used to host weddings,  Vacation camps for the children as well as all major community events.

During the Covid19 pandemic the computers from the Centre were sent to the homes of the children so that they can participate in online school.

• A Furnished kitchen

• Children's play park

• Fully Air Conditioned

• Chairs

• Computers

• A 20x30 outdoor shed
